To be elegible for a performace based trophy, the athlete must have competed in at least 5 weeks of competition and the family must have completed at least 5 duties (as measured by the published duty tally prior to Centre Champs)​

The Ian Johnson Memorial Trophy Awarded to a boy from the U11 – Open age groups combined who accumulates the most points for the season in the 400m-800m-1500m track events.

The Phil Gillan Long Jump Award
Awarded to a boy or girl who greatly improves their performance in the Long Jump over the season. This is defined as the greatest length improvement from the best performance of the previous season to the best performance of the current season

Ted Hudson High Jump Award
Awarded to a boy or girl who greatly improves their performance in the High Jump over the season. This is defined as the greatest height improvement from the best performance of the previous season to the best performance of the current season.
The Most Improved Triple Jump Award
Awarded to a boy or girl who greatly improves their performance in the Triple Jump over the season. This is defined as the greatest length improvement from the best performance of the previous season to the best performance of the current season.
The Hancock Family Discus Award
Awarded to a boy or girl who greatly improves their performance in the Discus over the season. This is defined as the greatest distance improvement from the best performance of the previous season to the best performance of the current season.
The Hancock Family Shot Put Award
Awarded to a boy or girl who greatly improves their performance in the Shot Put over the season. This is defined as the greatest distance improvement from the best performance of the previous season to the best performance of the current season.
The Buttigieg-Clarke Family Javelin Award
Awarded to a boy or girl who greatly improves their performance in the Javelin over the season. This is defined as the greatest distance improvement from the best performance of the previous season to the best performance of the current season.

The Most Improved 70m Award
Awarded to a boy or girl who greatly improves their performance in the 70m over the season. This is defined as the greatest time improvement from the best performance of the previous season to the best performance of the current season.

The Most Improved 100m Award
Awarded to a boy or girl who greatly improves their performance in the 100m over the season. This is defined as the greatest time improvement from the best performance of the previous season to the best performance of the current season.
The Most Improved 200m Award
Awarded to a boy or girl who greatly improves their performance in the 200m over the season. This is defined as the greatest time improvement from the best performance of the previous season to the best performance of the current season.
Personal Best Awards

Personal Best (PB) Awards Program
A Personal Best (PB) awards program will be run to recognise all children for improvement. Awards are given to athletes as they continue to achieve PB’s.
​
A trophy will be awarded to the boy or girl with the most PBs in each age group if they have not already received a trophy from the list above.

End of Season PB Certificates for those who have competed in at least one day of competition the 2025 calendar year

Point scoring for Centre awards
All children receive points for their performance in each event, every week throughout the season. The point scoring is based on the athlete’s performance in relation to a set age group performance standard. The more often you compete, the more points you will achieve.
