Little Athletics is an excellent foundation sport, providing an opportunity for kids to learn athletics skills, improve their fitness, build confidence, and have fun meeting new friends.

​

Williamstown Little Athletics Centre is a member of Little Athletics Victoria. More than 400 children and teenagers participate in Little Athletics at WLAC. We commenced operations in 1967, making us the ninth Centre to affiliate, which is why our centre number is "9".

​

Williamstown Little Athletics Centre caters for young athletes aged from 5 to 17 years.

 

The Track and Field season is held from October to mid-March each year at Newport Park Athletics track - right next to the Newport power station. We run on Saturday mornings with occasional Wednesday evening Twilight competitions.

​

The Cross-Country season runs from May to August at various venues across Melbourne's west.
